A SPIRITUALLY CONNECTED

       FRUIT - BAEL (WOOD APPLE)

Bael or wood apple is a native tree of India. It has enormous medicinal values. Perhaps that is why, it has been linked to the god by ancient sages. The leaves of the tree are offered to lord Shiva, especially on shivratri.

Three leaflets denoting I, me, and mine are offered to God, which means to shed all of your ego in the feet of God. Each part of this tree is used to cure different types of diseases.

My friend, who is a yoga guru, suggested me to try bael juice. Since long, I have been also thinking about this fruit. So I went to the fruit market, which boasts of having,, all kinds of seasonal fruits.

I had a glimpse of all kinds of summer fruits there, like melons, plums, apricots, mangoes, peaches and off course, bael fruit. These are all mighty fruits, full of so many nutrients.
